#sewphotohop Day 17: Proudest achievement. This is my reproduction of the doublet Joe Fiennes wears in Shakespeare In Love, made several years ago whilst studying at RADA. I had never used leather before I embarked on this project and it ending up being a mishmash of different techniques but I love how it turned out! I’m always always little bit sad I sold it though – maybe I should make another one? Leather doublet with removable sleeves with red cotton lining, gold buttons and a bucket of glue…
