Catch up time! #sewphotohop Day 20: Learning and practicing. I used to do a lot of cross stitch as a teenager (rock and roll, I know) but I stopped doing it for several years. However I found a kit in Hobbycraft that I loved a couple of months ago, found it cheaper on ebay and have been working on it in dribs and drabs. It’s been nice to practise some embroidery but I think I’d like to learn some more complex techniques – any suggestions on where to look?

I recently found an old “How to Embroider” booklet with lots of old, unusual, and complex stitches. I am planning to post them on my blog. I will give you a shout when I do.
