I can’t believe it’s DECEMBER. How the heck did that happen?!
I’m sooo close to finishing my peacoat and I am eagerly awaiting payday so I can treat myself to some new patterns (which may already be ready and waiting in my online shopping baskets) but for now I’m going to set myself a few simple goals to see me through to 2016.
1. Colette Patterns Sorbetto. I want to run my overlocker in a bit so this simple wardrobe staple would be an ideal first project as well as stash busting!
2. Sewaholic Granville shirt. I don’t have a fitted long sleeved plaid shirt and this pattern has great reviews and seems very versatile so I’m looking forward to making my own.
3. Sewchet.com Stitching Santa. First step, stalk my blogger. On their blog, I mean, not real life… Second step, think of something brilliant and organise it in time for Christmas. Right then…
What have you all got planned for December? Let me know your plans for the festive season in the comments! ☺
Hi Jenny, I know , December, right. Wow, where did the year go,eh? Can’t wait to see your peacoat finish. I’m all set to get my sewing studio organised before the new year. ‘fingers crossed’.And stop by fellow sewist social sites/blogs that have inspired me to sew on! 😀 ~cheers Mona

Can’t wait to see your coat! I’ll be working on my #DESIGNIN’ DECEMBER outfit and my sister’s MOG dress, although I can’t blog about the MOG dress until after the February wedding!

I am going to host something new – DESIGNIN’ DECEMBER. All through December on IG, my blog, Twitter, Pinterest. Find an image of something Designer that you wish to have, then copy it for yourself. You can make it better, fit & cost! Tag it #DESIGNINDECEMBER. Let me know and I will show off your Designer image and the copy you make on my blog. You can blog about it too referring to me so others can join in. Anything from a Burberry scarf or cape to a Chanel coat. Find an image and copy it. There is a post about it on my blog and I will probably send out a reminder this weekend too. I have a DESIGNIN’ DECEMBER button to copy and paste on your blog too.

Thanks! I just need buttons and then to sew the buttonholes, but the buttons I want don’t seem to exist (disaster!)

Sorbetto is great. I’ve recently made two, but I haven’t been able to take pictures of them yet. Fun and quick to make!

Ooh, so much still to do! Two stitching santa parcels to finish (nearly there), a December make for Minerva Crafts, a ball gown for the work’s do, not to mention other handmade gifts still to make!

impressive set of goals – – I think I’m going to make a coat with a lovely piece of wool I have and possibly (panic) a pair of pants!!! They’re cut out, but I don’t quite have the nerve yet…..
