The lovely Amanda from Bimble and Pimble has organised #bpsewvember for another year and I've literally decided in the last 5 minutes I'm going to take part! #bpsewvember Day 30 – Next up
#bpsewvember Day 30 - Next up. When I've finished my peacoat for the #v1467sewalong (just buying buttons and sewing buttonholes to go) I want to make the Sewaholic Granville shirt in this salmon and blue flannel. #bpsewvember Day 24 – Skill up
#bpsewvember Day 24 - Skill up. I would love to improve my tailoring skills! Since completing my training I've taught myself new things as and when required, but it'd be wonderful to do more 'proper' learning!
#bpsewvember Day 23 – Essential
#bpsewvember Day 23 - Essential. Having enough space to work in is essential! I am lucky to have a room for my sewing but I used to just have a tiny cluttered desk in my cluttered bedroom and that was one of the reasons I didn't sew (aka I was too lazy to tidy up). … Continue reading #bpsewvember Day 23 – Essential
#bpsewvember Day 22 – From the vault
#bpsewvember Day 22 - From the vault. I have very few pictures of early makes, but this is the very first thing I ever drafted from scratch when I was at RADA. This was based on a photo of an early 60s wedding dress.
