#sewphotohop Day 22: Texture. I have to admit - texture is not something I conciously think about when fabric shopping. If it feels like it would be comfortable to wear, I buy it!
#sewphotohop Day 16: wishlist. I have lots of projects projects and fabrics on my wishlist - jeans that ACTUALLY fit are hopefully my next big project! The other big thing on my list is time! More time to sit and sew or write would be amazing. Somewhat ironically, I didn't post this yesterday because I … Continue reading #sewphotohop Day 16: wishlist
#sewphotohop Day 15: Sewing space. My sewing space is ALWAYS a complete tip with stuff on every surface - it needs a proper sort out! #sewphotohop Day 13: Gamechanger. For me it has to be starting a blog in 2015. Through that and instagram I've discovered this amazing network of sewing people and considering I started it on a whim it's been so much better than I ever could have hoped!

#sewphotohop Day 7: Stash busters. As you can probably see I have quite an unruly stash that is in dire need of busting. This isn't even all of it... Stash sale maybe?!
#sewphotohop Day 6: Essential kit. I always use my unpicked - something will go awry with every make so this is always close to hand! I also always use my tape measure when I sew - I've had this one for nearly 20 years so it's definitely been well used!
#sewphotohop Day 5: Print or solid. I always think I have a wardrobe made up of solid colours but in hindsight I haven't made anything in a solid colour fabric for years! You can wear most prints if you only ever wear jeans 😂
